Magnetic nails polishes

This is what I used for this mani.

These are the things that I used for this mani. Sadly, unless you live in Korea or you are really familiar with Korean cosmetics, these exact brands may not much help. I used Missha, Modi Base Coat from Aritaum and Magnetic Nail Polish from Missha. Also, all the exact names are in Korean… so this is awkward! Moving swiftly along…

Magnet for my magnetic polish

My polish came with a separate magnet. It has a diagram that shows the direction of stripes that the magnet will create.

I painted the magnetic nail polish on. As you can see, it looks normal. Then, I quickly (while the polish is still wet) held the magnet just above the nail. I had to be careful to keep the direction of the stripes in the direction I wanted it. Also, I had to hold the magnet really close to the nail to be effective (almost touching the nail) and hold it steady for about 20-30 seconds. This tactic worked well ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s what the nail looked like after the magnet.

Final Mani

Final Magnetic Mani

So this is the final mani. I hope you like it! What do you think? ๐Ÿ™‚
