Polish Alcoholic and Beauty Expression have an awesome giveaway running for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which was in October. I was very keen to participate, it’s such a good cause and I’ve been wanting to do a BCA mani this October. Slightly late.. but the Giveaway is still running until the 7th of November, so check out the links and get involved.
This is my first post since Christmas 🙂 I hope everyone had a happy Christmas day 🙂 I got an amazing camera from my boyfriend for Christmas, so I’m really excited to learn how to use it and use it for my blog. Also maybe dabble in some other photography 🙂
I did a gradient with a tape pattern and a jewel accent nail. I used a random purple and Holika Holika peach combination for the gradient. I cut scotch tape into triangles for the tape design. This is the result.. I hope you like it 🙂
I decided to use fruit cake colours and do a more abstract manicure 🙂
I always remember having fruit cake on Christmas. It was a big deal in my family, my grandma used to make tons of Christmas puddings (that have all the fruit, cherries, raisins, etc in). The recipe was passed down from my great-grandmother who apparently stole a recipe for fruit cake from the nuns. I’m not sure how true this whole story is, but it was always a big part of our Christmas.
I did a very simple, abstract design 🙂 I hope you like it!
I decided to do a version of a French Manicure 🙂 I love French Manicures AND they are classic. This one didn’t turn out too Christmassy, I added some tape to try spice it up. But I realised that I don’t have red or green tape (Christmas colours).. But, I did my best and this is how it turned out 🙂
I used a Konad light pink that is very transparent as an undercoat, then I used tape and Sally Hansen White On to make a French manicure effect. After that I used blue and black tape and a lace black tape on one nail as an accent. That’s it! 🙂
Happy Friday to everyone 🙂 It’s been a long week! I just want to do a quick post..
This is similar to a manicure I did a few weeks ago, tiny dotting french manicure. I also did an accent nail with some cute flowers. It’s a very cute, girly mani.
I used an ancient Yardley French Manicure Pink (I’ve had it for years, but it’s just a plain pink for french manicures), I also used a Modi pink, Sally Hansen “White on”, Skin Food lime green and some silver nail art tape. I used a dotting stick with a really small tip to make tiny dots. Its super cute and cheerful, it brightened up my day today 🙂 I hope you like it! What do you think?
I’m loving glitter at the moment. I’m going through a small bling phase, but I’m trying to tone it down a bit. So I decided to mix it up with some bling stripes on a base coat of matte nail polish. I used an Organic Farm Matte and Skin Food silver glitter. Also, I just did accent nails so it’s not too overwhelming. I’m very happy with the result. I hope you like it too! What do you think?
So, I’m going to the beach this weekend 🙂 We’re leaving tonight.. So I thought I would do something fun with my nails seeing as I can’t change them until Monday! It’s going to be very hard for a nail addict not to be able to change my nails..
Again, most of the polishes I used are only found in Korea. I used Missha, Skin Food, Aritaum and a Holika Holika matte top coat (ring finger) nail polishes. I also used scotch tape (for the middle finger, which I messed up a little) and nail tape for the pinky. What do you think? I hope you like it 🙂
This is my mani from tonight. I used a Korean nail polish from The Face Shop (If anyone wants more details about polishes just comment and I’ll reply, not sure if you get these brands anywhere other than Korea). I love the colour, but it didn’t come out nicely in the pics. I have a feeling it’s going to really shine in the daylight… We’ll see tomorrow 🙂 What do you think? I hope you like my mani 🙂
